Dr Georgios Kyrchanidis is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon and Traumatologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. Throughout his career, he has gained broad clinical and surgical expertise at leading university hospitals and specialized orthopedic centers in Greece, treating both routine and highly complex orthopedic and trauma cases.

His clinical practice focuses on the comprehensive management of bone, joint, ligament and cartilage disorders, including sports injuries, fractures, post-traumatic conditions, osteoarthritis, and hip and knee pathologies. He provides both conservative treatment and advanced surgical care, developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s medical condition, functional needs, and lifestyle.

Dr Kyrchanidis has worked in several of Greece’s most respected healthcare institutions, including Attikon University General Hospital, Tzaneio General Hospital, Aglaia Kyriakou Children’s Hospital, the General Hospital of Samos, the General Oncological Hospital of Kifisia, and Iatriko Athens Hospital. This multidisciplinary experience enables him to manage a wide spectrum of orthopedic conditions in both elective and emergency settings.

Committed to continuous professional development, Dr Kyrchanidis regularly participates in international scientific congresses and advanced training programs in orthopedic and trauma surgery. His postgraduate education includes the internationally recognized Trauma Master Techniques program in Barcelona, focusing on contemporary approaches to fracture management and musculoskeletal trauma.

He currently consults and performs surgical procedures at Iatriko Athens Hospital while also seeing patients in his private practice in Athens.
