Dr Antonios Anagnostopoulos is a highly experienced Consultant Gynaecological Oncology Surgeon with extensive international expertise in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of gynaecological cancers. He specializes in advanced minimally invasive, laparoscopic, and robotic surgery, offering personalized, evidence-based care for women with both malignant and complex benign gynaecological conditions.

After graduating from the University of Crete School of Medicine, Dr Anagnostopoulos completed specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the United Kingdom. He obtained dual certification in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Gynaecological Oncology Surgery (CCT), as well as subspecialty accreditation from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO). He also holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopy. He currently serves as a Consultant Gynaecological Oncology Surgeon at St. Savvas Oncology Hospital in Athens and consults at IASO and REA Maternity-Gynaecology Hospitals.

Throughout his career, Dr Anagnostopoulos has gained extensive experience at leading oncology centers in both the United Kingdom and Greece. His clinical practice focuses on the surgical management of ovarian, cervical, endometrial, and vulvar cancers, as well as advanced colposcopy, complex pelvic surgery, fertility-preserving procedures, and minimally invasive techniques that promote faster recovery and improved patient outcomes.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Anagnostopoulos is actively involved in scientific research and medical education. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, contributed to international textbooks, served as a guest editor for leading oncology journals, and regularly lectures at international conferences. He is also actively involved in training future gynaecological surgeons and developing clinical guidelines in gynaecological oncology.
