Dr Mahmoud Mrisat is a board-certified Emergency Medicine Specialist and Deputy Director of the Emergency Department at Yoseftal Medical Center, Israel. He has extensive experience in the management of medical emergencies, trauma, resuscitation, and critical care, providing rapid, evidence-based treatment for patients with life-threatening conditions.

Dr Mrisat earned his medical degree from the Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy and completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Sheba Medical Center, one of Israel’s leading tertiary hospitals. He currently combines clinical practice with leadership responsibilities, coordinating emergency department operations and hospital responses during major incidents and mass casualty events. His experience includes managing hospital emergency responses to large-scale incidents involving multiple casualties.

In addition to emergency medicine, Dr Mrisat has extensive expertise in critical care, procedural sedation for adults and children, emergency airway management, point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), and the treatment of acute medical and traumatic conditions. He has also worked in acute home hospitalization services and urgent care, allowing him to provide comprehensive emergency care across a variety of clinical settings.

Dr Mrisat is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and actively participates in emergency preparedness and disaster medicine. His approach combines clinical excellence, rapid decision-making, and multidisciplinary teamwork to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients.
